This may have been already discussed, but there is still a discrepance between standard text programs like word and EmEditor when it comes to the apostrophe. So in example “teddy’s dog” will be counted as 2 words in MS word, but as 3 words in EmEditor. Could this please be improved in a future update?

MarcusIf you would like to count “teddy’s dog” as two words, please add ‘ to the Treat the following characters as alphanumeric text box in the Edit page of the Customize dialog box.
