Workspaces don't save window-splitting status

Let’s say I have three files open, and I split one of them in half . When I save and restore the workspace, that split is gone.

Splits are currently NOT included in workspaces. Do you really need to include split positions (and cursor positions in every pane, etc.) in workspaces?

Yes, it’s very handy. A workspace, almost by definition, should restore the whole editing environment to exactly what it was when the user saved the workspace. Check out Excel’s workspaces.
