Find in files
or replace in filesJanuary 24, 2011 at 6:13 am #9231
Well… You are right, the “Find in Files” or “Replace in Files” window lacks the convenience. Perhaps you could use regular expression or escape sequence to perform a multiline search/replace. :-(January 24, 2011 at 1:09 pm #9233CrashNBurnMember
The multiline option in Find/Replace files doesn’t do what you think… it just makes the edit box multi-line.January 24, 2011 at 3:09 pm #9234
Hi CrashNBurn, try + instead of when you entering a multiline-search-string in the multiline-edit-box. :-)February 12, 2014 at 10:51 am #17989slavParticipant
I second the need for multiline Search/Replace in files. Yes, I could use regular expressions, it’s not as convenient for simple cases.
