    Well… You are right, the “Find in Files” or “Replace in Files” window lacks the convenience. Perhaps you could use regular expression or escape sequence to perform a multiline search/replace. :-(

    The multiline option in Find/Replace files doesn’t do what you think… it just makes the edit box multi-line.

    I second the need for multiline Search/Replace in files. Yes, I could use regular expressions, it’s not as convenient for simple cases.
