I’m trying to use Emeditor v16 beta2 since the function Extract the lines found by “Find”. The button “Select all” in Find dialog box is available by default. If I copy my old setting files (eeCommon.ini) into the folder of the new beta version. Then the button “Select all” is grayed out and I can’t click. What’s the reason for that? Thank you!

I am not sure why the Select All button is grayed out. Can you download the latest version (v16.0.2) and try again without copying your old INI files?

Thank you, Yutaka! Without old INI files, Button “Select all” works very well. It looks my INI files are defective. I will check that. Since I had customized my Main menu, context menu, menu of tab, toolbar….. I wish to keep them via old INI file.

Can you check if the “Enable Multiple Selections” check box is set in the Edit tab of the Customize dialog box?

Yes. It works after checking “Enable Multiple Selections”. EmEditor is really very nice.
