“Check Spelling” ignores delimiter characters

Paste the strings below in EmEditor, and turn on Check Spelling and set the dictionary to English:
‘Correct’
‘This is a test’
‘I have eternal life’

As you can see, “Correct”, “test” and “life” (above) are tagged as misspelled, and when you choose the suggested word, the ’ is taken out.

‘Correct’
‘This is a test’
‘I have eternal life’

Delimiter ‘ works as expected. I have not found any other delimiter than ’.
