EE v17.7beta eeCompare report use the new delimiter “│” character to separate the comparison data items.
But if the text files includes the “│” character, especially in some files use the “│” character to draw the text table or square box…etc.
EE v17.7beta will unable to display eeCompare report properly, and it will show “Inconsistent number of columns detected”.

The next beta version will quote those cells that contain the delimiter or double quotes.
    Thanks!

In v17.6.93, still unable to display eeCompare report properly for the “│” character.
And the new quote mark in eeCompare report, can not be hidden in CSV mode, it will look more complicated.

    For example:
    test1.txt
    ╭──────╮
    │ V4.062 │
    ╰──────╯
    Test1 test1
    Sea; pop. 230
Download and experience the “World’s fastest text editor” now!
    ================================================
    test2.txt
    ╭──────╮
    │ V4.063 │
    ╰──────╯
    Test2 test2
    Sea; pop. 234
Download the “World’s fastest text editor” now!

    Hello sky,
Please go to the CSV page of the Customize dialog box, select from the list, and set the Allow delimiters in double quotes check box. I will make this default on the next version. Thank you!
