EmEditor Professional 7.00 beta 33 is available for download. The new features include:

    – Windows Vista-type Open/Save dialog boxes on Windows Vista
    – Optimizations and bug fixes.

Since this is a beta version, it might include bugs, and therefore please install only test machines.

EmEditor Professional 7.00 beta 33 (Installer):
    http://www.emeditor.com/pub/emed700b33epx.msi

The portable version can be produced from the Import/Export wizard on the Tools menu after you use the installer. However, the portable version runs slower than one using the Registry.

See http://www.emeditor.com/modules/feature1/ for the list of new features.
Also, See the history page of the Help after you download and install the new version.

If you tried, please post any bug reports or any other feedback on this forum. Thank you!

Note: We will NOT add new features any more until Version 7 release, and will focus on optimization and bug fixes (except when necessary to support huge files).

execute the installer on windows server 2008(rc0)
    it claims
    “””
    EmEditor Professional(English) Files in Use
The following applications are using files which the installer must update. You can either close the applications and click “Try Again”, or click “Continue” so that the installer continues the installation, and replaces these files when your system restarts.
    the application(s) is windows explorer.
    “””
every beta version on windows server 2008(rc0) claims this.

I realized this error message, but this claim shouldn’t happen again after installing beta 23. It has been already fixed on beta 23 by not using “emedshl.dll” file, but uninstalling beta 22 or earlier caused this message. Thanks!
