    That’s great you did a big job to get certified for the windows Vista. But our time there is one more popular tendency present – people move to linux (mostly ubuntu, mandriva) especially among programmers / coders (your native audience). No, I am not claiming about porting Emeditor for *nix, but probably it is possible at least to make it work with WINE (http://www.winehq.org/) ?

    EmEditor 8.05 does work with WINE. I tried it on Kubuntu 9.04 with WINE 1.1.25 and it is working.

    In v18.8.0, I fixed an issue with Ubuntu + Wine where EmEditor could crash during its launch. Please let me know if the latest version of EmEditor still crashes with Wine.
