How is it possible to install the latest version of the EmEditor on a Linux machine using WINE?

EmEditor should work with Linux + Wine. Please let me know if the latest version of EmEditor crashes with Wine.December 25, 2020 at 4:04 am #27237jesus2099Participant
I have an EmEditor lifetime licence but have definitively switched from Windows to Linux: Debian 10 XFCE and Raspbian 10 LXDE (Raspberry Pi OS).
I would like to install EmEditor recent version on Linux, but I really have no clue how to do that as EmEditor lacks linux support.
So I should use Wine but I already tried with foobar2000 and I couldn’t achieve a nice result at all (bad integration, and snap packages don’t install properly in XFCE).
So I am now using Audacious instead, having to say bye bye to most of my loved foobar2000 features.
If anyone achieves install of EmEditor under Linux, please write a small How To (step by step).
