In the course of looking for answers to the dictionary edit problem I decided to try the new, improved online version. However, it seems that one kind of needs to know exactly where to look. Of course, I don’t know that.
Is there some way to search the online help?
    Thanks… Bob

    Hi Bob,
you can search any web page by utilizing g00gle, best with key word “site:”

    Like:
    sticky vertical site:emeditor.com/help/
    user dictionary site:emeditor.com/

    Hi Stefan,
This is very useful. Google changed the toolbar a few years ago and I have been wondering what happened to the ability to search a specific site.
I had found the dictionary but was a little bit shy of the .bin format. I guess that’s just a way to do double-byte characters.
    Thanks… Bob

The extension has nothing to do with the content. It had could be named UserDic.TXT also.
But the author decided to make it look more “magic” and/or mark it as “special” file that way, so the user leave it alone.
