Opening up thousands of windows

On opening Emeditor for the first time after startup I’m getting thousands of windows opening up. I did not have a thousand workspaces open when I left work yesterday. The computer spikes and doesn’t allow me to do anything for around 5-10 minutes until Emeditor has finished doing whatever it is trying to do.

This has happened twice this week on Tuesday and this morning. It did not happen yesterday.

Edit: Could this be related to /forums/topic/a-multiple-group-workspace-restore-glitch-in-version-14-4-1/ ? I am no longer seeing those files for download so I’m unable to patch. I’m getting an empty “TempWS0” file in my “final” window after this all finishes and I close out all of the windows prompts to delete workspace.

Please write which version of EmEditor you are using. Yes. This bug should have been fixed on v14.4.2.
