    Thank you. “Recognize Single-byte Kana and Kana Marks as URLs” indeed solves it for URLs. But it does not solve it for emails.

    Ah, thanks!

    Now I also understand the problem: the ambiguity that arises when you have links enclosed in parentheses. A solution might be to check if there is an opening parenthesis within the link and treat the closing parenthesis accordingly. It would be smart, but maybe too smart, hard to say.

    (BTW, I’m using EmEditor for 9 years now, almost every day, the whole day. It’s worth every penny. Thanks for the tool!)

    Thanks, this works. A bit slow, however. I personally think this “show spaces” should be triggered by the Marks button. All these “marks” are also customized in one place, why aren’t they shown in one place? In many editors showing line breaks and spaces is done by the same button.
