EmEditor v17.9.0 released!

Today, we are releasing EmEditor v17.9.0.

If you use the Desktop Installer version, you can select Check for Updates on the Help to download the newest version. If you the Desktop portable version, you can go to the Download page to download the newest version. The Store App versions can be updated through Microsoft Store (64-bit or 32-bit) after a few days.

About Store App:

In order to be compliant in the requirement where Store Apps must work in Windows 10 S-mode operations, following features are not supported in Store App versions anymore:
– Open Command Prompt
– Plug-ins not included in the app package
– Export settings into a registry
– Import settings from a registry

The desktop versions of this version is available free if you have a lifetime license or if your maintenance plan is valid as of July 11, 2018. Your registration keys might be found in the Emurasoft Customer Center. The registration key for v17 is the same as the key for v14, v15, and v16. The Store App versions are available free if you have a valid subscription via Microsoft Store.
