    PC crashed and there was no restoration of unsaved data

    is this a feature that must be somehow enabled?

    (Emeditor 10.0.0 32bit)

    I have noticed a bug in Open Documents plugin:

    when we go to a file by clicking on its name at the list, the cursor does not appear inside the text of the file, we need to manually put it inside

    yes, by dropping the selected text to the appropriate file in the files list

    but with an option to place a newline before the text, so that the pasted text will be like this:

    previoustext
    pastedtext

    and not like this:

    previoustextpastedtext

    thanks that is nice

    however it would be best to be able to drag and drop text to the files (and this, would add the highlighted text at the end of the file in which we dropped it, possibly after a newline)

    when I install the latest version 8 beta 2 I don’t get any question where to install settings, in registry or ini

    I don’t remember where I stored the settings of the previous installation (version 7)

    how do I manualy remove registry info?

    thanks but these don’t support other languages and custom dictionaries

    maybe Emeditor could incorporate an advanced spell checker?

    ok but emeditor highlights urls

    it change text color and it undelines it

    supporting underlined and bold text would bloat it more?
    I wouldn’t expect emeditor to have the abilities of openoffice (columns, etc) but bold and underline text would be nice

    I have tried them and they dont do what I need

    they just create a new text file with the lines that contain or not a string

    I want to SELECT the lines that contain or not a specific string

    and then either copy them, or DELETE them, preserving the structure of the document (preserving newlines, etc)

    yes I mean the caret (not the IBeam)

    pity

    you sure it cant be done with any script?

    it would be very handy and ergonomic since it would save us from many clicks

    we could just move with the mouse the cursor in the point we want to type and we could start typing without having to click there first
