is it possible to make a script that will toggle/cycle through capitalize-lowercase-uppercase?

eg select some text, then clicking ctrl+y will lowercase it, clicking ctrl+y again will uppercase it, again it will capitalize it, again it will lowercase it, etc

ok, maybe a macro that will delete all these characters? (they are displayed as boxes)

    a macro similar to this

    document.selection.Replace("unicode", "", eeFindReplaceRegExp | eeFindReplaceQuiet | eeReplaceAll);

    hello

    sorry for late reply

the way it works in opera and probably other applications is:

eg, lets say you select some words, then you click delete (you delete them all at once)
if you click ctrl+z/undo it will restore the deleted words, but it wont restore the highlighting, the words wont be selected/highlighted, but the cursor will be at the end of the previous selection

    thanks

    1) what about the others?

    2) I would like to replace:

    "." followed by space

    with:

    "," followed by space

but, ONLY when the first (“.” followed by space) is followed by anything but uppercase character

    3) eeFindReplaceOnlyWord what really means? it means that it will replace the string only if its surrounded by spaces, commas, fullstops, newlines, etc?

    4) I would like to lowercase any uppercase letter that is surrounded between two lowercase letters

    thanks

the bug is even worse, its buggier
follow this procedure to reveal another similar bug:

write some characters in greek text
    hit ;
hit backspace (it deletes the previous character, while it shouldnt)
hit ; again (it deletes AGAIN the previous character, while it should just stress the next typed character)

no, I just want to highlight/select all the occurrence of the string I search

How would you like to see the result of ‘find all words’?

I want to select/highlight them all

close the ‘Find’ dialog box. You will find all matched items highlighted

    I couldnt reproduce this

clearing the Avoid Printer Access checkbox made the page numbers appear

however, I would not like EmEditor to take longer to launch

I hope in the future versions, we will be able to see the page numbers without longer launch times

    thanks

thanks but I dont know all the words I want to mark as “terms”, so that I could add them to highlight list

and its not convenient to add the word each time

I would imagine to select the text of the term and using a keyboard shortcut to make it underlined/bold/italics

I hope the macro function you refer too will do this

something else, emeditor seems to be able to either display all the text of a document as bold/italics/underlined or none

it cant display seperate words as bold etc

am I wrong? if no, how do I make bold seperate words?

also clicking on an active tab should drop the active tab in the background

just like it happens with windowsxp task bar tabs
