How can I search for a string at the beginning or end of a line?

In the Find dialog box, if you select [Use Regular Expressions], ^ means the beginning of a line and $ means the end of a line. To search for "xxxxx" at the beginning of a line, enter ^xxxxx in the search string. To search for "xxxxx" at the end of a line, enter xxxxx$ in the search string.

Also, if you select [Use Escape Sequences], \n means a new line. To search for "xxxxx" at the beginning of a line, enter \nxxxxx in the search string. To search for "xxxxx" at the end of a line, enter xxxxx\n in the search string.
