Do you have an estimate for when or which version this will be fixed ?

    Cheers

So what you are telling me is don’t upgrade to 10.1.0 as it removes functionality I use, but it may come back in a later version.

    Very disappointing.

    Sorry I can’t read Japanese.

The ‘bug fix’ where a large CSVTSV file disables CSVTSV mode creates a bug for me.

Can this fix be turned off through configuration ?

Can a better solution be found for this problem ?

As someone who processes large files like this on a regular basis the fix for me is a step backwards.

    Cheers

I’ve just had a chance to check the CSV mode.

The problem where you scroll the window and scroll back causing a windows repaint is present in CSV mode too. The value in column 1 overwrites the values in column 2. However if I grab the ruler mark and resize column 1 the column 2 data reappears correctly.

I’ve just experienced this problem doing a Replace All.

I have a csv file (not yet saved) with 164000 rows in it. I did a Replace All changing n with ,n (added a column to the end of the data row).

A popup appeared with a check box ‘Accelerate by Discarding Undo Information’ which I ticked. The action took minutes to complete !!! Previous versions used to run significantly quicker.

The ‘Additional Lines to Search for Regular Expressions’ is set to 0.

I ran the Replace All again with the same criteria and it took just as long.

I ran a third Replace All changing ,, to , and the process took less than a second.

The problem would seem to be related to regular expressions.

Is there any way of disabling the undo during a Replace permanently ?

Thanks Yutaka, I was hoping it was a config option that I had set incorrectly.

    Cheers
