Just figure out they are defined in “highlights default configuration keywords” under highlight 1. I am wondering if I can change/modify these default keywords.

    Does anybody reproduce the issue?

Yutaka, the new beta version didn’t work, yet. Have to add a new Reg_DWORD value “AltNodeImage” in reg file as you mentioned. Have to add DWORD (this is for 32bit) to make the icon work.
Don’t understand why My 64bit EE needs to add a DWORD for a 32bit OS.
BTW the icon is a square with white color as background. There is an arrow in it. When the contents is in extension, the triangle turns to 45° down. When the extension is closed, the triangle turns to an arrow point to right.

I used classic theme with desktop background as a slide show. Do you think is this cause the problem? Let me try turn of the slide show.

It happened just after I updated to the latest version 16.4.1.
The workspace settings as: save; restore and keep undo information.
It was changed to none, and reset “customize start window” as default. It still re-opened when it was closed.

    OS: win7 pro.

    Stefan,

Did you notice this problem come back again in the version 15.7.2.
My computer did not change: WinPro 7, 64bit OS, EE 15.7.2.
The “no wrap” issue comes back.

    Stefan,
Did you figure out the reason or have any update info?

    Stefan,
No. I followed your instruction. It is still working as before.
I found my selection of “wrap by” was nothing in all-property configuration.
After chosen “wrap by special characters”, open a new file, EE will dispay as what I selected.
However, the chosen property won’t be saved because closed and re-opened EE, the display became no wrap again.
And wrap by in general is nothing.
I changed other selections, all of them can be saved when closed and re-opened.
    Maybe this is the reason.
BTW, I am using 64-bit EE.

Which was the EmEditor version and bitness architecture (32/64) this works for you?
    EE ver14 64-bit version
Which version and bitness do you use now you got this problem with?
ver 15.2, 64-bit (noticed it, maybe even earlier)
Do you have EmEditor installed or do you use the portable version?
    Installed version
On which operation system (XP/W7/W8/W10) ?
    Win7 64-bit Pro

Sorry about that. It’s tag “in all configurations properties”. Before I selected “word wrap”, the new file will be opened as wrap characters/wrap window each time.
… but now, it opens as no wrap. don’t know the reason.

Yes, I have the same thinking about two years ago.
Late, I change my mind to switch back to windows OS.
One of the reasons is I couldn’t find alternative of EmEditor for Mac OS.

I only found “updates” folder under you mentioned path. Is something wrong with my computer?
