    I like the customizable menus.

    How can i export an own menu
    to share with an college and
    then import it again?

    Something like:
    – have an option to export/import the menu code to an file.

    Thanks, but no, because that belongs to the whole EE settings.

    I want to export just “My Menu”.

    But all is hidden in the settings in binary code :-(
    Would be nice to have clear text like with VIM or Total Commander.

    With VIM i can even have the config for “my menu” in an separate text file
    and load it in run time to the main menu,
    just at that time i need it. (think different menus for different tasks)

    OK, I understand.

    So, if a more granular export/import is indeed going to be implemented, I would suggest to do so as an extension of the Tools->Import and export… wizard. It should present an itemized list of check-boxes, a check-box for each category, with multiple boxes that can be individually checked or cleared. By default, all boxes should IMHO be checked. Also, “buttons” for “Clear all” and “Check all” should be there too.

    I guess our dear Yutaka might suggest a list of check-boxes for us to comment (or vote?)
