How do you extract lines that contain a certain string?

Using the filter feature, you can extract lines that contain a certain string.

1. Enter the string you want to filter with into the Filter toolbar. When the document is filtered, only lines that contain the given string will be displayed.
   • If the Filter toolbar is not visible, go to Search | Filter.
     
2. In the Filter toolbar, click on Extract All | Extract All Lines. A new document with the extracted lines will be created, which can be saved as a file.

• You can extract lines that do not contain the string by clicking on the Negative button.
