How do I enable two‑factor authentication on the emeditor.com forums?
We highly recommend enabling two‑factor authentication (2FA) on emeditor.com to keep your account secure. 2FA adds an extra layer of protection so that even if someone else finds your password, they still cannot sign in without your 2FA code. This guide covers 2FA for the emeditor.com forums only; Emurasoft Customer Center uses a separate account (support.emeditor.com).
- Sign in to your account from the forums page.
- Hover over your name at the top right, then click Edit Profile.

- Scroll down. Under the Google Authenticator settings, enable Active.
- Click the Create New Secret button. A secret key and a QR code will be generated.

- On your phone, open your 2FA app. You can use apps such as Authy or Google Authenticator.
- In Authy, tap the “+” button, tap Scan QR Code, scan the QR code on the screen, then tap Save.
- In Google Authenticator, tap the “+” button, tap Scan a QR Code, and scan the QR code on the screen.
- On your computer, scroll to the bottom of the profile page and click Update Profile to save your 2FA settings.
(Optional) To test that 2FA is working, open a new InPrivate or Incognito window in your browser and go to the Forums. Sign in and check that your 2FA code is accepted.
The next time you sign in to emeditor.com, you will be required to enter your 2FA code. Open your 2FA app on your phone, find the emeditor.com entry, and enter the six‑digit code into the Google Authenticator code field in the sign‑in form.
