How do you install EmEditor per computer?

We recommend installing EmEditor separately for each user through the Microsoft Store or the MSIX installer (.appinstaller), as per-user installations support automatic updates.

If automatic updates are not required, you can provision the MSIX version for all users by following these steps:

  1. Download the MSIX package (.msix file only).
  2. Open PowerShell as an administrator by selecting Run as administrator, and then run the following command:
Add-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online -PackagePath "C:\(path)\emed64_26.2.9.msix" -SkipLicense
