Today, we are releasing EmEditor v18.9.2.

Updates from v18.9.1 include:

Fixed the issue where editing very large CSV files did not work correctly.
Fixed the issue where hidden files could not be saved.

If you use the Desktop Installer version, you can select Check for Updates on the Help to download the newest version. If you use the Desktop portable version, you can go to the Download page to download the newest version. CSV Import+Export—an Excel add-in

We have released CSV Import+Export, a simple tool for importing CSV data into Excel and for exporting an Excel worksheet to CSV.

CSV Import+Export is able to import CSV data to a worksheet using a user-specified encoding, delimiter, and newline sequence. It can also export a worksheet to CSV with those configurable options. Although Excel can natively import CSV files, it cannot export using custom formats, so CSV Import+Export fills in this missing feature.

To download CSV Import+Export for free on Excel 2016+ and Excel Online, click “Get It Now” on our AppSource page: https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200000025.

Or alternatively:

Open Excel and go to Insert | My Add-ins (or Office Add-ins)
Under the Store tab, search for “CSV Import+Export” and click the Add button

Worked around an issue with Ubuntu + Wine where EmEditor could crash during its launch (EmEditor does NOT completely support Wine).
Fixed an issue where EmEditor could crash when Undo is used several times after Batch Replace.

Added the Ignore the last character in the selection on the Insert/Remove Newline Characters commands, Converts half-width backslashes (U+005C) to full-width Japanese Yen signs (U+FFE5) during half-width/full-width conversions, and Converts half-width backslashes (U+005C) to full-width Korean Won signs (U+FFE6) during half-width/full-width conversions check boxes to the Edit page of the Customize dialog box.
Added the eeWidthJapaneseYen and eeWidthKoreanWon flags to the ChangeWidth method of the Selection object..
Added FLAG_JAPANESE_YEN and FLAG_KOREAN_WON flags to the EE_CONVERT message and Editor_Convert inline function.
